Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor was in Minneapolis last night, where Prince first rose to fame. During his solo show, Taylor covered two of his songs to pay tribute to the musical legend.

Back in 2002, we learned that Corey Taylor didn't just scream his lungs out all of the time. On the first Spider-Man soundtrack, there was a song credited to one Corey Taylor. That song was "Bother." Most people know it as a Stone Sour song. That's when the world found out that Corey Taylor could sing!

That being said, Taylor was playing a solo gig in Minneapolis last night. He often mixes in covers within his set. Last night was no exception, and with great reason, he covered not one, but TWO Prince songs.

Taylor walked out on stage with just his acoustic guitar, and belted out "Purple Rain."

Then he did "Little Red Corvette"
