Many people don't know, including myself until recently, that Robert Englund wasn't the first choice to play Freddy Krueger. David Warner was cast as Freddy, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts, but he did do some make-up tests! Check it out!

In my opinion, this make-up looks better than the Robert Englund version. Wonder why they changed it?
