There is some changes this season as far as UL football games are concerned. Areas that were free general parking won't be available the same as they were last year. Keep reading for details on where parking will be available and the differences from previous seasons.

From Jay Walker of our sister station ESPN 1420:

There is a change in UL parking this year that is bound to raise questions as we get closer to our first game which is a week from Saturday (Sept. 1) vs. Lamar.

In the past, the west side of the stadium, between the edifice and N. College Dr. has been available for free general parking in what could most easily be termed the "gravel lot."  That was IN ADDITION TO  the reserved parking on that side for season ticket holders/RCAF members.

That gravel lot will no longer be available to free parking for the general public.

Because of increased donations to the Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation, the west side of the stadium will now be reserved parking only, and only those with a parking pass will be allowed to park on the west side of the stadium.

Free general parking will still be available in the north end zone and on the east (student) side of the stadium.

Overflow parking will be directed to the Cajundome lot (when there's no function there), the area behind the Hilton Garden Inn and Blackham Coliseum.

So, just a heads up on parking! See y'all there! GEAUX CAJUNS!!!
