Carencro Principal To Resign
Effective next Thursday, March 31, Carencro High School Principal Ken Roebuck is resigning to pursue another opportunity.
The Lafayette Parish School System has announced that current assistant principal Mary Qualey will take the job as interim principal.
Qualey has worked at the school for many years.
With Qualey move to interim principal, James Rollins, the assistant principal at the W.D. and Mary Baker Career Center will be transferring to Carencro High for the duration of the school year.
Rollins' duties will be transferred to assistant principals from Moss Preparatory School and Comeaux High School as they assist Alicia Ceasar at the Career Center to finish out this school year.
All of the changes will take effect on Monday, April 4.
