Grants will be awarded to Louisiana small businesses to help with recovery from COVID-19 economic impacts, according to the Louisiana Main Street website.

The news was reported by KATC during Governor Edwards address to the state today

Act 311 has set aside $275 Million for this small business program, which you can learn more about at louisianamainstreet.com

Businesses can apply for up to $15,000 to cover eligible expenses and you can see all of the requirements as well as what the grants will cover on their website.

The Louisiana Main Street website lists their goal saying, "Grants will first be given to businesses who didn’t receive a Payment Protection Program loan, insurance payment, or an Economic Injury Disaster loan or advance as well as businesses owned by women, minorities and veterans".
