Budweiser Ranks The Most Beer-Loving States In the Country
It's no secret that Louisiana loves beer. There's nothing like a cold one on a hot Louisiana day...or a cold one on a cold day for that matter. Budweiser recently conducted a survey to find out what states love beer the most, and here's what they found out.
Budweiser's "Beer With Your Buds" national survey asked 2,000 people from across the country what their favorite drink of choice is when they get together with friends and family. What they found out is that beer is the clear drink of choice for most Americans.
1. Beer: 36%
2. Margarita: 17%
3. Wine: 13%
4. Cosmopolitan: 5%
5. Gin & tonic: 4%
Next, Budweiser asked the folks that choose beer whether they reach for domestic or import beer. 2 to 1, the survey showed Americans pop the top on domestic brands.
1. Domestic beer: 67%
2. Imported beer: 33%
