You may know Buckethead best as the guy who tried to fill Slash's role in Guns N' Roses when Axl brought the band back. Lemme tell ya, Buckethead ain't no hack! And he's released an exorbitant amount of albums in the past three years!

Back in 2010, Buckethead started his departure from all of the bands he was in. He left Travis Dickerson's project that year, followed by Praxis in 2011, Frankenstein Brothers in 2012, and finally Brain in 2013.

He also didn't tour after this, not even on his solo efforts. Instead, he went to work on putting out studio albums, which he did in an unbelievably fast fashion.

Starting in 2010, Buckethead began releasing solo albums under the concept of a "kiosk within Buckethead's fictional 'abusement' park called 'Buckethead Pikes.'" These albums became known as the Pikes series.

Between 2010 and 2013 he released 45 albums. If you think that's a whole lot, prepare to have your mind all kinds of blown.

In 2014, Buckethead released a whopping SIXTY albums! That, shockingly, still wouldn't be his greatest feat in the studio album releasing game.

That's because in 2015 alone, Buckethead released 118 studio albums. ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN studio albums! That's a rough average of one album every three days!

He's released 20 albums in 2016, but has resumed touring.

He has released a total of 256 solo albums to date. Including albums that he played on with other musicians (just studio albums), he has released a grand total of 269!

It's pretty fun to read about the albums. They go from solemn (Hold Me Forever (In memory of my mom Nancy York Carroll)), to rather funny (Happy Birthday MJ 23).
