It was reported yesterday that Adrian Peterson wouldn't be taking the field in the New Orleans Saints first preseason game vs. the Browns. Now it looks like two other main starters won't see any action either.

Sources are saying that along with Peterson, Drew Brees, and Mark Ingram will stay on the sidelines in the preseason opener.

Other players that you may have been hoping to see play, but probably won't include first round picks CB Marshon Lattimore, and LT Ryan Ramczyk. Both were sidelined at recent practices with undisclosed injuries.

Brees only saw one series last preseason opener. He didn't play in the 2014, or 2015 openers. With him out vs. the Browns, Chase Daniel will likely start the game, then let Garrett Grayson and Ryan Nassib have a shot at the end zone.
