Black Veil Brides’ Andy Biersack Stops Show to Attack Heckler
If there's one thing we've learned over the years, Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack is not afraid to speak his mind, especially when it comes to defending his band. On Wednesday (Feb. 25) in Vancouver, things came to a head when the vocalist grew tired of an audience member heckling the group.
According to Rock and Metal Newz, who posted the video above, the band stopped playing a song after a member of the crowd screamed that he wanted Memphis May Fire to come back onstage and play again.
As can be seen in the video, Biersack goes on a tirade against the audience member, starting by saying, "Are you gonna be real embarrassed when a motherf---er wearing mascara knocks your fake ass out right now?"
The frontman then challenged the audience member to come up onstage and play the guitar to show how it's done. "We have stopped the whole show so that you can play the guitar right now. And yet every single f---ing time that we do this, you don't have the f---ing balls to come up and do anything," states Biersack. "Come on, split the f---ing crowd and come up and play the f---ing guitar you little virtuoso mother---er."
After gaining his composure a bit, Biersack continued, "I'm not trying to be all aggressive. If someone wants to ruin our show, I want them to show us how much better they are than us because we get to be up here because people want to see us play. So you can f---ing leave or you can play the guitar better right now."
Forcing the issue, he then tossed the mic into the crowd to let the audience member speak, but a few seconds later went into the audience to confront the person while security rushed behind him to stop the altercation. A closer fan-shot view of Biersack going into the crowd and the ensuing crush of people around the incident can be seen below.
