Classic Black Sabbath Albums Finally Made Available via iTunes
For fans who like to get their music online, iTunes is one of the leading providers, but even the download giant has a few noticeable gaps in their catalog. One of those gaps has now been filled as for the first time, the full catalog from the original Black Sabbath lineup is now available digitally.
The band's albums have been mastered specifically for iTunes, ensuring the delivery of the music to listeners with increased audio fidelity and more closely replicating what was initially intended by the band all those years ago.
Fans can now get 1970's 'Black Sabbath' and 'Paranoid,' as well as 'Master of Reality,' 'Vol. 4,' 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,' 'Sabotage,' 'Technical Ecstasy,' 'We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'N' Roll,' 'Never Say Die' and the 'Greatest Hits 1970-1978' collection. In addition, fans have the option to also get the entire collection as part of 'The Complete Studio Albums 1970-1978.'
"It's about f---ing time the first eight Black Sabbath albums were made available on iTunes in the U.S.,' said Ozzy Osbourne. Guitarist Tony Iommi added, "Great news, been a long time trying to explain to fans why the music wasn't available." Bassist Geezer Butler concluded, "It's going to be great to finally have the catalog accessible on iTunes. To access Black Sabbath's music on iTunes, visit www.iTunes.com/BlackSabbath.
