Here is something fun to do for Halloween with the family.  Bike Lafayette is hosting “Bikes, Burgers and Boo’s” this Halloween and it sounds like the perfect event to connect our community and bicyclists in the Lafayette area.

Bikes, Burgers and Boo’s will be Saturday, October 31st at Café 329 on Dulles Drive in Lafayette. It’s free to attend but donations are encouraged to help Bike Lafayette assist the community with different projects.

The fun starts at 2:00 pm. Bike Lafayette will also hold a fix-a-thon offering to teach bicycle maintenance. They’ll also have a group of experienced riders available to give advice on where to ride and to share tips on fixing and maintaining your bike. Burgers and po-boys will be served so that’s a plus.

The event will be followed by a Halloween “Gleaux Ride” at 7:00 p.m. The ride The Gleaux Ride is a 9-mile loop with the option to shorten to 4.5 miles. This is a great opportunity to get in that Spooky Spirit and decorate your bicycle with Halloween decorations and flashy lights. You’re encouraged to wear your best Halloween costume and a helmet of course.
