Christian Bale will be suiting up one last time as Batman for the final installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise for 'The Dark Knight Rises'. According to HitFix, principal photography  has started on the film (meaning it started shooting). While the first two films were filmed in one location (Begins mostly in London, and Dark Knight mostly in Chicago), the next film will film over 3 different continents!

I honestly cannot WAIT til this movie comes out...but I guess I'll be forced to, seeing that it doesn't come out until July of NEXT year. Let's hope the supposed rapture this Saturday won't ruin this for me. With Anne Hathaway as Selena Kyle/Catwoman, the always excellent Tom Hardy as Bane (the guy who actually broke Batman's back in the comics...hmmm) and rounding out the newcomers we have the beautiful Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member who is rumored to be Tahlia Al Ghul (imdb), and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, a new Gotham Detective who joins Commisioner Gordon's squad to catch the Batman (imdb).

HitFlix says:

"The locations span three continents and include Pittsburgh, New York and Los

Angeles, as well as sites in India, England and Scotland.

Switching it up helps ensure that the fictional Gotham City will never simply look identical to one real-life city."

That Christopher Nolan...he's so smart! Expect me to post more news on this movie as it rolls in (Cause I'm obviously a huge Batman nerd...Yes I have a Batman credit card).
