Essentially, it resulted in the talk show host losing his job...to President Obama, who swept on to stage and hijacked the show from an aghast -- but totally willing -- Colbert, only to put his own spin on what it means to host a political chat show. For his latest round of "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets," Jimmy Kimmel trotted out his most star-studded line-up of celebs yet, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lena Dunham, Gerard Butler, Ty Burrell, Bob Newhart, Britney Spears, Geena Davis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Grace Moretz, Scott Foley, Michael Chiklis, Ted Danson (Ted Danson? who tweets mean things about Ted Danson?), John Stamos, Lisa Kudrow, and Adam Sandler. Former 'SNL' head writer Seth Meyers has made it his business to bring some of those sketches cut from 'SNL' to his own 'Late Night' show, and the results have so far been uproarious. While Will Forte's cut bit got the full sketch treatment a few months ago, Bill Hader didn't need those same bells and whistles. After all, his snipped sketch just involved him putting on a weirdly nuanced impression of '60 Minutes' anchor Bob Simon.

Dear Hugh Jackman, you know that 'The Tonight Show' is on television, right? More specifically, it's on live television in front of a studio audience, which means hundreds of people are watching the show in person, with millions more watching at home. In short, it's a very bad place to decide to cheat at a game, particularly if that game involves standing on an oversized pool table in front of said audience.

Whoever is in charge of scheduling over at Disney (we imagine it's many people, but just go with it) is going to be in a lot of trouble when they realize that they've put their next 'Star Wars' movie up against 'The Nest,' an adult comedy starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. During the taping of last night's 'Conan,' the heartbreaking news of Robin Williams' passing was announced. Instead of ignoring the news or saving it for tomorrow or not acknowledging it, host Conan O'Brien took it upon himself to share it with a shocked studio audience, sidekick Andy Richter, and guest Will Arnett. Still stunned and reeling from the news, the trio -- all of whom had worked with Williams in the past -- shared their thoughts on the actor and comedian.

The host of 'Conan' has long featured the bear on his various late-night shows, and he is a truly beloved member of the O'Brien family, which is what makes Stephen Colbert's recent claim that his show was the first to feature a bear touching himself on air so truly egregious.
