Arrest Made In Connection With 2014 Murders

Dereck Viator has been arrested for allegedly murdering Cody Fell and Abigail Clark in April of 2014.

Our news partners at KATC say Fell and Clark were found dead inside a burnt SUV on Claude Road in Vermilion Parish over two years ago.

Viator has been charged with two counts of first degree murder but additional arrests are expected as Vermilion Parish and St. Landry Parish authorities continue to investigate.
