Angry Eagles Fan Attacks Girlfriend, Then Puts Dog In Microwave After Loss To Saints
This past Sunday, Colonial Regional police were called to a Best Western hotel after an Eagles fan, upset about the loss to the Saints, reportedly attacked her girlfriend and then put her dog in the microwave.
Mcall.com says 31-year-old Kirsten J. Gaskins of Philadelphia was charged "with simple assault, harassment, cruelty to animals and possession of drug paraphernalia". The incident took place in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
Gaskins was released on $20,000 unsecured bail.
When police arrived on the scene Sunday night, the victim allegedly told them she had just got into an argument and fight with her girlfriend. Police noticed blood on her ear and cuts to her face and nose.
That's when the victim told police she and her girlfriend were watching the Saints and Eagles playoff game. Gaskins got drunk and started yelling about the loss.
From there, Gaskins started pushing and punching the victim and told her if she left the hotel room she would put her dog in the microwave.
Police went to the hotel room and checked the microwave and found a white Pomeranian dog inside. The dog was unharmed.
I know it can be pretty tough when your team loses a big game like this, but please, please don't ever get caught up in it like this.
