Alligator At Disney Resort In Florida Drags Young Child Into The Water

Authorities in Florida are searching for a young child tonight. The child was dragged into water by an alligator near Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that the two-year-old was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon around 9:30 p.m. local time.

Jacquee Walker, Vice President of Walt Disney World Resort released this statement:

Everyone here at the Walt Disney World Resort is devastated by this tragic accident. Our thoughts are with the family. We are helping the family and doing everything we can to assist law enforcement.
