All NFL Playoff Scenarios Entering Week 17

The New Orleans Saints are the #1 seed in the NFC, but all other seeds and a few playoff spots will be determined in week 17.

Every team who's playoff seeding or playoff spot can also be impacted by another game is scheduled to play at the same time as the other team.

The NFL does this to avoid any team getting an advantage on Sunday.

In the NFC, the Saints are the #1 seed, and 4 other playoff spots have been claimed by the division winning Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. The Seattle Seahawks have procured one of the two Wild Card spots, and the last WC spot will be claimed by either the Minnesota Vikings or Philadelphia Eagles.

The following is a rundown of all NFC playoff scenarios to be decided in week 17.

LOS ANGELES RAMS (12-3) vs. San Francisco (4-11), Sunday, 3:25 PM

Los Angeles clinches a first-round bye with:

LAR win or tie OR
CHI loss or tie

CHICAGO BEARS (11-4) at Minnesota (8-6-1), Sunday, 3:25 PM

Chicago clinches a first-round bye with:

CHI win + LAR loss

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (8-6-1) vs. Chicago (11-4), Sunday, 3:25 PM

Minnesota clinches a playoff berth with:

MIN win or tie OR
PHI loss or tie

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (8-7) at Washington (7-8), Sunday, 3:25

Philadelphia clinches a playoff berth with:

PHI win + MIN loss

In the AFC, only the New England Patriots have won their division. Other teams that already have a playoff spot are the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans.

The Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts all enter week 17 with a chance to get into the playoffs and potentially win their division.

Houston clinches AFC South division title and home-field advantage throughout AFC playoffs with:

HOU win + NE loss or tie + KC loss + LAC loss + HOU clinches a tie in strength of victory tiebreaker over KC

Houston clinches AFC South division title and a first-round bye with:

HOU win + NE loss or tie OR
HOU win + KC loss + LAC loss + HOU clinches a tie in strength of victory tiebreaker over KC OR
