AG Jeff Landry: No Charges For Officers Who Shot Alton Sterling
Louisiana State Attorney General updated the public on the investigation into the shooting death of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge. Landry announced the decision to not charge the officers involved in the altercation.
Landry says the independent investigation of the events including interviews with eyewitnesses led them to the conclusion that the use of force was not enough to warrant charges against the officers.
