This Adult Easter Egg Hunt In New Orleans Swaps Boiled Eggs For Jell-O Shots and Mini Bottles
Who says adults don't deserve to have a little fun?
Sometimes we have to get away from the sacrifices and responsibility that comes with adulting, and enjoy being a kid again—and what better way to achieve this than a good old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt.
Except, this Easter Egg Hunt doesn't involve Boiled Eggs and chocolate candies. New Orleans City Park is presenting their first-ever adults-only Bunny Hops event on April 20.
The event will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the Carousel Garden and the price tag is $30. Some people may gawk at that price, but remember—this isn't your ordinary Easter Egg hunt.
Your cover charge allows you to sample craft beers, enjoy Jell-O shots, and ride carnival rides like roller coasters, a mini train, and a Ferris wheel. The event is also BYOB, so you can bring your favorite wine or champagne to enjoy (one bottle per person) while a DJ plays tunes and catfish and fries are served.
Attendees are encouraged to wear bunny ears and the "wildest, or worst" will be judged in a bunny ears contest.
The highlight of the event will be at 8:45 p.m. when everyone makes their way to "Storyland" for the big Easter Egg hunt where the eggs will be stuffed with prizes including event tickets, candy, and mini bottles of liquor!
Head over to NewOrleansCityPark.com to get your tickets, but of course, you must be 21 to attend.
Now, in the meantime can we arrange a similar adult-themed Easter Egg hunt in Lafayette?
