All eight of the school systems in Acadiana affected by the Louisiana floods will offer free lunches for students until Sept. 30.

From KATC:

The parishes that are offering free lunch under the USDA's Community Eligibility Provision Program include Acadia, Iberia, Evangeline, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin and Vermilion Parishes.

These are the parishes that are authorized by USDA to provide school meals at no charge to students.

To continue receiving free or reduced meals beyond Sept. 30, parents can apply online at www.MySchoolApps.com.
