Lafayette and other parts of Acadiana were featured on Samantha Brown's "Places to Love".

From Breaux Bridge to Kaplan, from Martin's Accordion studio to Crawfish Haven/Ms Rose's Bed and Breakfast, Brown got a great baptism into Cajun Culture.

She was given a dance lesson by Harold Bernard, a crawfishing lesson by Barry Toups, and even got to enjoy an authentic Cajun crawfish boil.

The program aired on PBS, and is about 27 minutes in length. Watch the episode below.

When you watch the video, you'll see that she got a tour of Vermilionville, cruised through Lake Martin in a kayak, hung out with the Magnolia Sisters at Blue Moon Saloon, and got to feel the real joie de vivre of Cajun Country.

Samantha, thank you for visiting Acadiana, and giving the world a glimpse into our simple, wonderful way of life!
