For you fans of Breaking Bad anticipating the prequel spin-off 'Better Call Saul' hoping that it will feature cameos from Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, you might get a little bit more than a cameo.

Aaron Paul, who starred in Breaking Bad as Jesse Pinkman is in "serious talks" with show creator Vince Gilligan to make Jesse a major character in the upcoming spin-off.

Paul said about returning as Pinkman:

Anything Vince is involved with, I'm there. I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days — because it's all a prequel — it would be fun!

Gilligan hoped that characters from Breaking Bad would join the show.

They’re off making big movies and doing Broadway plays and whatnot, and that’s exactly the way it should be. That is a high-class problem that we will have to contend with as we go forward with Better Call Saul, if we do indeed want to touch base with some of these characters.

Better Caul Saul already has Bob Odenkirk returning as Saul Goodman and Jonathan Banks returning as Mike Ehrmantraut. Last year, Gilligan said that the spinoff was originally conceived as a half-hour sitcom before he and his writing team settled on an hour-long format.

Gilligan also said:

There's obviously a danger inherent in doing a spinoff, but I just love the character of Saul Goodman so much, and part of me doesn't want to say no to this world.

Better Caul Saul premieres on AMC this November!
