A Louisiana 11-Year-Old Is Attending Southern University

An 11-year-old college student? This is like something out of "The Big Bang Theory."  Unlike Sheldon Cooper, Baton Rouge's Elijah Precciely is no fictional character. He's very real. KLFY reports Elijah has recently begun his first semester at Southern University. The physics major is the youngest student to ever receive a full ride scholarship at the university. Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management Dr. Manicia Gene Finch told WBRZ, “He’s more than just a prodigy. I think he is a young gentleman and a man of the Holy Spirit, and he’s going to fit just as well as he already does here at Southern University.” Elijah is not only enrolled in college at the incredibly young age of 11 he also does a weekly radio show.
