The zombie apocalypse. It's bound to happen one way or another. If it happened RIGHT NOW...Where would you go? Do you have a plan? We've come up with 5 best places in Acadiana to go for the impending zombie apocalypse.

The Mall of Acadiana will have a high level of supplies for you to use. And even if things get whacky, it's still in a sort of rural-esque area that you can hide out in and just use it to ransack when you need to.

That place looks like a bomb shelter already! And what always seems to happen at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. When you find a TV that's on, there's the news reporters giving you the happenings while your family has already been eaten. It may be a temporary compound, but when it first breaks, seems like a legit place to go.

Guns! Ammo! Knives! Clothing! The things that you're gonna need during the zombie apocalypse, and they've got them all. Same thing as the Mall, it's near semi-rural areas, so you could possibly go out and do some hunting for a food source.

The Camp

You know. THE camp. Everyone either has one, or knows someone that has one. And what better place. You're sure to have guns and ammo. Lots of space to hunt and possibly fish. You may even have some meat in the freezer. Deer stands for spotting and/or hiding from zombies. Sounds pretty good to me!

As far as hunkering down for safety, you can't really get better. They don't want people breaking in, so zombies certainly aren't gonna be gettin in. They'll have guns and ammo. A possible short food supply. Plenty of space if you're in a group. Generators are most likely in place. The only problem will be that's it's surrounded by population. So, if you must go out, it may get a bit dangerous. But for immediate resources, I can't think of a better place.
