3 Shot After Suspect Open Fires In Opelousas Restaurant
Local media outlets are reporting that Opelousas police are investigating an incident where three people were shot inside a restaurant.
Police Chief Martin McClendon said officers responded to a report that multiple people had been shot around 2:50 a.m. at a business in the 700 block of South Academy Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers determined three people were shot and required medical attention.
The shooting happened at Mama's Place in Opelousas.
This is an ongoing investigation.
The victims are expected to survive.
