$20,000 Penny For Sale In St. Martinville

A penny in St. Martinville is listed for sale online, with an asking price of $20,000.

The coin is allegedly a 1969 "double die Lincoln cent".

According to a quick search on the Google, it appears that a double die penny is quite valuable.

Charlotte Darby posted the coin for sale and, according to a different post on Facebook, she claims that she found 3 of them.

The picture posted to the For Sale in Lafayette, La Facebook page (pictured here) isn't the clearest, so I can't see for myself the appearance of the double die but if in fact, she DOES have 3 of these coins, she could be rolling in the dough!
