Trapper Joe LaFont Of ‘Swamp People’ Arrested In California

'Trapper' Joe LaFont, one of the stars of Swamp People on The History Channel was arrested this morning in Orange County, California.

He was booked for domestic abuse. He and his girlfriend were involved in a domestic altercation and LaFont was then arrested. He is being held on a $1,500 bond. We will have further information on this as it becomes available.

LaFont has had it pretty rough as of late, not too long ago, back in May of this year, he and his stepson Tommy Chauvin were involved in a bad car accident near Texarcana.
