Of course you don't want to spook the hefty creatures. And you probably want to have this experience, so doing what they did was probably the best thing to do. Just stay still.

As these people lie next to a small pool like area with a deck, a group of three elephants decided to stop in for a drink. The two people lying on the deck stay extremely still and let the elephants go about their business.

After about 30 seconds, a couple of dips of their trunks in the pool and letting the water loose in their mouths, the elephants are satisfied and continue about their day.
