Tom Hardy took to his Instagram page to let fans know that he seems to be enjoying New Orleans while filming an Al Capone biopic.

According to NOLA.com, Tom Hardy is in New Orleans filming the movie Fonzo. The movie will tell a side of Capone that most haven't explored yet. The end of his life. After serving ten years in prison, the once larger than life gangster is suffering mental decline due to syphilis.

He shared a few pictures from pre-production on the film. Principal photography is scheduled to start this coming Monday (4/2) in New Orleans. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:

Once a ruthless businessman and bootlegger who ruled Chicago with an iron fist, Alfonse Capone was the most infamous and feared gangster of American lore. At the age of 47, following nearly a decade of imprisonment, dementia rots Alfonse's mind and his past becomes present as harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins melt into his waking life.

Hardy put several pictures up on his Instagram page. Some were him getting into character for the movie. There were at least two that showed him in New Orleans. One of which he labeled "NORLA," which made me chuckle as I wondered if that's a British way to say NOLA, or just an honest mistake. Either way, I'm saying NORLA from now on.

Here's a picture that seems to be Hardy in a dressing room, wearing prison clothes.
