Can't fight a love like theirs!

It has been confirmed that Johnny Depp and Tim Burton will be teaming up to bring the 1960s vampire soap opera, Dark Shadows, to the big screen.

Tim will, of course, be directing the venture, while Johnny's production company is lending its expertise to produce. But Johnny might not be stepping into the famous Barnabas Collins as once predicted.

Though he has long been talking about his DREAM to play the role, the movie is said to be going into production next April, instead of February as was previously suggested. That scheduling seems to collide with another project Johnny has in the works with director Kathryn Bigelow and Tom Hanks. Johnny is in talks to star in the flick, Triple Frontier, along side Hanks about organized crime in Latin America.

Now, he's been given a Sophie's choice: his dream role or a dream collaboration!

Decisions, decisions!

Word is though, if he bows out of Dark Shadows, Mark Wahlberg could be taking his place.

Interesting choice.
