Though it was a light day for medals, there was still plenty of drama at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London on Monday. Here’s a recap of the day’s action:

WHAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!? These guys are playing a game that looks like a hybrid of soccer and volleyball with some Kung-Fu thrown in the mix. WTF?! It's called Sepak Takraw, which apparently translates into literally "kick ball". Earlier this week, soccer star David Beckham pulled double-duty as a security guard and helped to apprehend a fan who had run onto the field at Old Trafford in Manchester, England. Beckham was lining up for a corner kick when the fan, who looked to be quite young, invaded the pitch and began circling about.

When will this make its US debut? Not soon enough, IMHO.

If bees attack me during a soccer game, the last thing I would think to do is hit the ground. Is this a real method? If there's thousands of bees swarming...do you just lie down?
