Witnesses described the disturbing scene on the Mississippi River Bridge in Baton Rouge Tuesday night when nearly 30 pigs fell from a trailer and were struck by passing cars.

It was an interesting day at the Super 1 in Scott after a large group of pigs got loose from their livestock trailer on Wednesday (Feb. 8).

This is definitely not the type of pork you are used to seeing at the grocery store.

Remember back in July, that fast fast little runaway pig in New Iberia everyone was trying to catch? Many people tried to catch him, but he was quite a slippery fella. Well, KATC reports he's doing just fine these days. He doing better than fine actually. He's got a new home and a new loving family.

We all have that one friend that steals our beer and then wants to fight. It happens in nature just as it does in the alleged civilized existence of humans.

Wild pigs are becoming an even bigger problem for agriculture producers throughout the state.

On The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show this morning, we checked out a video of a guy riding a hog. Surprisingly, he was very successful and rode that hog for quite a while! It reminded us of the time that Producer Joe went out to try and wrangle a greased pig.

There are something like 10 million feral pigs in 38 states. 500,000 of them call Louisiana home. They're destroying farmers' crops and are even causing damage to the already weakened wetlands.
