Officers will respond with "zero tolerance" to anyone found to be under the influence.

Lafayette Police officers will be conducting an OWI Checkpoint this weekend in Lafayette.

Lafayette Police were busy Friday night arresting eight people and issuing 26 traffic citations during an OWI Checkpoint.

The checkpoint starts at 9:00 p.m. tonight and will last until 3:00 o'clock tomorrow morning.
