The official lineup for the 2016 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans has been announced! Tool has been announced as one of the main headliners this fall.
Cage the Elephant fans will get one of the band's most extensive treks to date in support of their 'Melophobia' album this spring. The group, who opened for Muse and played numerous festival dates in the fall, are staging their own headlining trek in April and May.
In their new single, Cage the Elephant beckon listeners to 'Come a Little Closer.' Now they're providing the means to do so as they're offering up an album stream of their 'Melophobia' disc a week before its release (listen below).
For fans wondering where Cage the Elephant have been hiding out, the band has been busy in the studio, working on their latest album. With a targeted release date of this fall, their third studio effort will be released on RCA Records.
Cage the Elephant's drummer recently had to quickly take some time off, leaving the band a bit stranded. They didn't want to cancel shows since they were opening for the Foo Fighters, but they found themselves suddenly without a percussion section...

There's always the fear of a "sophomore slump" in music.
