‘Signature’ Eric Clapton Guitar For Sale [Video]

Black & white Fender Stratocaster guitars have become an Eric Clapton trademark over the years. Some have more provenance, and subsequently, more value than others.

A Strat nicknamed "Blackie" was Slowhand's favorite axe for 15 years. More than a few eyebrows were raised when "Blackie" sold at auction for nearly a million dollars.

A replacement guitar was custom built, and Eric used it for a number of historic performances in the early 1990's. He used in for the shows at the Royal Albert Hall from which the '24 Nights" album was culled. He played it at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame induction of his legendary '60s band, "Cream." It was the main instrument for a 1992 tour of Japan with George Harrison.
