On The Grindhouse, we had Las Vegas, Nevada band ShrapNull live in studio with us. They are currently on a southern U.S. tour and are currently in Louisiana.

We talked about the tour, and how they are enjoying South Louisiana(especially the food)! During this tour, they played in Arlington, TX, which is the resting place of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. There was a pretty nasty rumor that one of the members of the band wrote all over Dimebag's tombstone with a Sharpie marker.

A photo was taken of guitarist Benny Banuet by a fan while he was kneeling in front of the grave and crying. He had taken his glasses off and the photo was posted to Facebook by the fan. The fan(whose name remains anonymous), said that Banuet was writing on the grave with a marker. This then started a whole controversy online and the band was even booed at a couple shows after that.

The band are huge Pantera and Dimebag fans and clarified on the Grindhouse that Banuet DID NOT write on the tombstone. The rumor had been dismissed via Facebook, by the fan that started it all.

Also, ShrapNull has this statement to make:

To everyone who is confused about us writing on Dimes grave, we did nothing to our Gods resting place. You all need to look at the pic a lot more closely, our guitar player Benny Banuet is kneeling down and has his glasses in his hand because he was crying. He is not writing or scratching anything. Jerry Warden is the man who is taking the pic and who also drove us to the cemetery, he also knew Dime personally and is friends with the Abbott family. It shows how ignorant you people are when you jump to conclusions, but we appreciate those who did take a closer look, and apologized for their negative comments. There is no way in hell we would do anything to disrespect Dime in any way. 3 out of the 4 band members have Dimbag tattoos, between both guitar players we own 5 Dimebag signature guitars, as well as the Dimebag signature Krank amps and a huge collection of memorabilia. We are huge Dime fans and hopefully everyone can realize what is actually happening in the picture instead of blindly assuming. Other than that The DeconstrucTOUR has been nothing but badass everywhere we've been, and we thank everyone for coming out and kicking ass with us!!!

Tonight, they play Lafayette with Misanthropic Inoculation and Red Shield at JP's Hookah and Martini Lounge on Johnston Street. Here is a list of Louisiana tour dates below:
