As was reported yesterday, the Saints were in negotiations to sign free agent inside linebacker Manti Te'o. Negotiations obviously went well.

The Saints have agreed to a 2-year deal with Te'o, which brings him back to familiar territory with Saints linebacker coach Mike Nolan.

Nolan served the same role for Te'o's former team, the Chargers, in 2015 where Manti saw his most productive season to date.

The Saints have upped their linebacking numbers to ten with the edition of Te'o. That corps now consists of Te'o, former Panther A.J. Klein, Craig Robertson, Stephone Anthony, Dannell Ellerbe, Nate Stupar, Hau'oli Kikaha, Travis Feeney, Royce LaFrance and Adam Bighill.
