As Governor John Bel Edwards comes to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to address the start of a special legislative session, local officials say there will be a road closure on the campus.

  • St. Mary Boulevard between Hebrard Boulevard and McKinley Street will be closed to drivers. Bicycle lanes will stay open, though.

Drivers will be able to park using McKinley Street or Girard Park Circle.

Gov. Edwards' "Our Louisiana" speech will begin at 1 PM at the historic Earl K. Long Gymnasium at 500 E. St. Mary Blvd.
