‘Price Is Right’ Makes History With Record Setting Showcase Showdown [Video]

In honor of Drew Carey's 10th anniversary as host of The Price Is Right, there was a special for the contestants during the wheel spin.

A record was set with the most money ever given away on the wheel! So, usually if you hit $1 on the wheel, you get a $1,000 bonus. For Drew Carey's 10th anniversary as host of The Price Is Right, when a contestant hit the $1 on the wheel, they were given $10,000.

All three of the contestants spun $1...HOLY COW! They then got an additional spin on the wheel. Only this time, if they hit the $1, they would be awarded $25,000. Well, two out of the three hit THAT!

A total of $80,000 was given away on the wheel alone. Drew's laugh when the second person hits the $25,000 spin is so great!
