Pearl Jam Documentary Coming In September

We told you about Pearl Jam having a documentary coming out directed by Cameron Crowe. Now, Crowe has said the Pearl Jam documentary will make a debut in September. He also gave a little insight on how it was made.

"Director Cameron Crowe tells Rolling Stone his upcoming Pearl Jam

documentary will debut in September. The band gave Crowe 18-20 hours of footage to combine with new material shot in 2009 and 2010. He says the idea for the film was, 'How do we do The Kids Are Alright of Pearl Jam, and sonic blast the best stuff?" Crowe added that the band is "not prone to opening the curtain...and that is the challenge and delight of it.'"
