OWI Checkpoint Scheduled For Tonight

Lafayette Police Department has scheduled an OWI checkpoint for tonight (4/21).

According to KATC, the police department will be looking for impaired drivers, and will have a checkpoint set up somewhere in the city limits between 9pm and 3am.

Zero tolerance will be provided to drivers found to be impaired.

If you plan on drinking, be sure to designate a driver, use Uber, call a taxi, or a friend. Please do not drink and drive.
