New Orleans Bowl Public Event Listings

If you're planning on heading down to New Orleans for the New Orleans Bowl where UL will be taking on East Carolina, there will be LOTS to do! 9:00 pm – until            Ragin’ Cajuns “We’re Back!” Parade sponsored by MidSouth Bank

The Pride of Acadiana marching band will lead fans from the Marriott to Bourbon Street in Second Line fashion.  Fans are encouraged to bring Mardi Gras beads to throw while walking in the parade. MidSouth Bank is a proud supporter of Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics. Parade begins at the Marriott at 9:00 pm. and is opened to all                                                             Ragin’ Cajuns fans.

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm   Ragin’ Cajuns Fan Fest sponsored by Home Bank

This reception at the Marriott will be open to all Ragin’ Cajuns fans with live music provided by Roddy Romero and the Hub City Allstars. Home Bank is a proud supporter of the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics. Complimentary beer, soft drinks, and water will be provided.                                                           

5:30 pm – 8:30 pm   New Orleans Bowl Friday Night Concert

Fans will be able to enjoy live music and great food at Champions Square.

Opening: Bad Company with Brian Howe

Headliner: The Beach Boys

This is a fan event that is free to the public.

Bus transportation will be provided from the Marriott to Champions Square from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm. (Pick up in front of Marriott – 555 Canal St./ Drop off in front of Champions Square on Poydras)

8:30 am – 10:30 am            RCAF/UL Alumni Association Tailgate Party sponsored by IberiaBank and Cox

Superdome:  Bienville Room (Enter Gate C)

Ragin’ Cajuns fans are invited to a pregame Tailgate Party in the Bienville Room at the Superdome.  Live music will be provided by Krossfyre. IberiaBank and Cox are proud supporters of Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics.

Admission is free to all RCAF 2012 Annual Fund donors (bracelet and game ticket required) and current Alumni Association Members. You are entering the game at this time, so all guests are required to present game tickets.

UL Alumni Association members will check-in prior to entering Bienville Room at Gate C. Bracelets will be provided at this time.

$10.00 for all others.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
