Former LSU head football coach Les Miles will once again play a big role in one of the biggest days in college football.

Dismissed four game into the 2016 season, Miles, who guided LSU to an overall record of 114-34 over 12 seasons, including the 2007 BCS National Championship, will play in a part the coverage of the ESPNU Signing Day Special next week.

ESPN announced on Wednesday that Miles will serve as a guest analyst on their day-long National Signing Day Coverage, which is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Feb. 1 on ESPNU.

The 63-year old Miles, who has accumulated a career record of 141-35, after stops at both Oklahoma St. and LSU, will also do some signing day analyst work for ESPN2.

The day will be significant for Miles in another way, as his son Ben is expected to sign a letter of intent with Nebraska.

Miles' son, Ben Miles, who played his high school football at Catholic High in Baton Rouge, is expected to sign a national letter of intent with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
