Leonard Nimoy, Who Played Spock On ‘Star Trek’, Dies At 83
Leonard Nimoy, who portrayed the Vulcan Spock on the infamous television show Star Trek and the movies that followed, including the latest new rebooted Star Trek films, has died at the age of 83.
He died earlier this morning at his Bel Air home in Los Angeles. The news was confirmed by his wife Susan Bay Nimoy, who said he had succumbed from the end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which he announced that he had last year, due to years of smoking.
