Former American Idol Judge Steven Tyler Cancels Aerosmith Tour Dates

Steven Tyler unexpectedly cancelled several South American tour dates.

USA Today reports the cancellation was for "unspecified health issues." Tyler declined to give details, but says it's not a life threatening issue.

While on hiatus from Aerosmith, the former American Idol judge tried his hand at country music.

Tyler flew back to the US after a Monday night show in Sao Palo, Brazil. He issued the following statement, apologizing to the people in Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico. A representative also issued a statement, saying Tyler is expected to make a full recovery.
