As FCC chairman Ajit Pai was delivering remarks, and just before the commission voted to repeal Net Neutrality, the room was evacuated for 12 minutes.

As Pai was talking, a woman came up to him to handed him a note. He then said:

"On advice of security, we need to take a brief recess."

The FCC video feed cut, but The Washington Post's YouTube video stream kept rolling.The room was evacuated, and police along with dogs came in to clear the room. About 12 minutes later the FCC's video feed resumed. Pai finished his remarks, and the Commission voted along party lines and repealed Net Neutrality with a 3-2 vote.
