They don't call us 'Hollywood of the South' for nothing! Louisiana has become an important destination for the film industry, and you can see television and film crews all over the state on just about any given day. It is just as important as our tourism industry, as far as bring dollars into the state.

There are many famous movies that have been filmed here in the Bayou State, and the folks at Louisiana Travel have reminded me of some of my most favorite movies and television shows that used Louisiana as a backdrop.
