‘Dexter’ Renewed For At Least Two More Seasons!

Rejoice 'Dexter' fans! There was rumor last month that the show may be over after this season. That's not the case! Dexter will kill again! For at least two more seasons! And both Showtime and Michael C. Hall seem united as one once again...Read the story after the jump!

tvline.com tells us that the show is more successful in its sixth season than it's ever been. And here's what the president of Showtime had to say:

“Dexter‘s enormous success is a real tribute to the great achievements of its cast, producers and the powerhouse performance of Michael C. Hall,” Showtime prez David Nevins said in touting the pick-up. “The series is bigger than it’s ever been in its sixth season… Together with Michael, the creative team on the show has a very clear sense of where they intend to take the show over the next two seasons and, as a huge fan, I’m excited to watch the story of Dexter Morgan play out.”

Dexter himself, Mr. Michael C. Hall commented as well, showing the union:

“On behalf of the entire Dexter family, we relish the invitation to delve ever deeper into Dexter’s world.”

The show will begin production on the seventh season next year!!! WEEEEEEE!!!!!
