Looking for bowl information for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns?

Louisiana will take on the Tulane Green Wave in the AutoNation Cure Bowl, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 15 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

Below is further information:

Tickets:

Tickets for the Cure Bowl are $50 and $25 (additional fees may apply), and can be purchased by clicking here, by visiting the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at the Cajundome, or by phone at (337) 265-2170.

Also, don't forget that the Cure Bowl directly supports breast cancer research, with proceeds from ticket sales donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

If you're not going to the game, or even if you are, but want to help more, you can donate $25 per ticket, with each ticket going towards worthy charitable causes in the local Orlando area. Plus, all ticket sales help cancer research, send someone who may not be fortunate enough to normally attend to do so, and help UL's ticket sales. Fans can contact the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation (RCAF) to make donations, or by calling 337-851-2903, with all donations being 100% tax deductible.

How To Get To Orlando:

You can drive, but it is about 750 miles, which would take about 11-12 hours.

Want to ride the bus? Greyhound can get you there and back for anywhere between $220-$250 per person.

Looking to fly? Keep in mind that Frontier flies directly from Lafayette to Orlando now. Next Monday, December 10, flights are only $20, one way, with an increase to $95 on Friday, December 14.

The bad thing about Frontier is that they only fly from Lafayette to Orlando on Mondays and Fridays, so you would have to fly out either really early or real late in the week, and you won't be able to return on Frontier until Monday, December 17. But if those days fit into your schedule, and you're traveling on a budget, they are an option, and can be booked here.

As always, you can fly from Lafayette to Orlando, with connection stops, with United, American, and Delta, probably in the neighborhood of $350 per person, round trip.

Another option is to fly Southwest, out of New Orleans, directly. Prices would likely be similar to the major airlines that fly out of Lafayette, however, likely in the $300 (round trip) range. It is possible you could strike a deal, so check the Southwest prices here.

Where To Stay?

Obvious, there are numerous places to stay, on almost any budget in Orlando. The team hotel will be Loews Portofino Bay, which is a Universal Orlando Resort Property, at Universal Studios.

Currently, a family of four (2 adults, and 2 children) can get a 5-night stay, which also includes 4-day tickets to the theme parks, round trip transfers from Orlando International Airport, and early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, for approximately $2,200.

For more info on the package at Loews Portofino Bay, or packages at other Universal Orlando Resort properties, including Universal's Cabana Bay, Universal's Adventura Hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls, Loews Royal Pacific, and the Hard Rock Hotel, contact Kristi McDonald Rose at 337-254-1324, or at Kristi@closertothemagic.com.

A certified Universal Studios travel agent, Kristi could likely help with a package if you're interested.

There are numerous options, in terms of travel and lodging, so just make sure to do your homework, ask questions, and pick one that best fits your needs, as well as your budget.
