Breaking Bad fans have already given the series a second life in AMC’s Better Call Saul, but there may be yet a third layer to Walter White’s legacy. Creator Vince Gilligan has begun development of a virtual reality project based on the iconic meth drama, potentially with talent attached.

Per Variety, Sony’s PlayStation division met with a number of prolific TV showrunners to allow them to experiment with VR technology, piquing Gilligan’s interest. The Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul boss was apparently impressed enough to consider some sort of VR project. Says global chief executive of Sony Interactive Entertainment Andrew House:

We set up a day at our campus where we brought seven of the best show runners [Sony Pictures Television] work with, like David Shore of ‘The Blacklist’ and Ron Moore, who did ‘Battlestar Galactica,’ Vince and some other folks. And they just played around with VR. Several of them were intrigued, but Vince was the one who said, ‘I really want to do something with this. I want to experiment with this.’

Sony wouldn’t reveal which Breaking Bad talent is attached, nor offer any concrete details on the project, though we at least know the experience won’t debut until 2018 at the earliest. It’s also likely to take the form of VR computer animation, but what part of the Breaking Bad experience should we hope the project recreates?
